Homework

Hi Parents, I just wanted to write a quick note about homework.  Homework is not consistently being done.  I am not one to send a lot of homework home, but I do send home Weekly Reading every Friday. Many students are not doing this.  If your child has other homework in English it is because he/she missed for music or was not using his/her time in class. This is a natural consequence.  I know that everyone is busy this time of year and we don't want to be inside doing homework, but please work with me to ensure your child is completing his/her required class work. Welcome Back

Hi Parents, I want to welcome you to a new school year and to my classroom!  I like to post ELA happenings on my Blog-a great way to reach everyone! We are starting out the year with the Unit "My Friends and I"!  We will be reading the novel Charlotte's Web !  I am so excited as this is my favourite childhood novel! I have taught Grade 5 ELA for the past two years, but have never taught Grade 4 and I am so looking forward to it!  I did complete my Internship in a Grade 3 classroom, so Elementary is not a new venture for me!
